Thick Impasto French Painting Cannes

This has to be one of the thickest impasto paintings I’ve ever found.

By an artist named E Engammare.

Dimensions : 54 x 46.5 cm

The scene shows cyprus trees and either a chateau or a church.

In the back the label reads

’ Les Cypres de Notre Dame de Vie’ (pres de Cannes) 1932

Painted on canvas.

There are some uneven ripples to the surface but because of the glorious thick paint I don’t think it matters
