Nicely Distressed French Mirror

This lovely old mirror has signs of a distressed mirror plate coming through.

As you can see from the front, pale blue paint was added to the surround at some point in its life.

There are old woodworm holes, which I have treated just to be 100% sure nothing is still active. It has also been briwaxed, so nothing to do!

As you can see from one of the photos the base of the mirror frame is slightly curved but you don’t notice this when on the wall or propped on a shelf.
