Large Vintage French Floral Oil Painting

The bold colours of this painting struck a chord with me straight away.

Signed and dated lower right, 1979. Hard to believe that 1979 was 47 years ago!

This painting is a large size measuring 61 x 49.5 cm.

Normally I prefer paintings unframed, but in the case the right frame would make it an incredible picture.

Although not known by me, this artist is apparently well known in France
