Religious Large Rare French 17th Century wooden Christ corpus Jesus figure

Bought in the south of France this stunning figure dates to the 1600’s!

Larger than usual it measures 45cm in height and 12cm from shoulder to shoulder.

Fabulous patina and it still has traces of original red paint on the cheek.

Provenance: It came from a chateau just south of Nancy
