Large French Speckle Glazed Water Jug 19th Century

Measuring 22 cm tall and 17.5 cm across this large heavy jug would have been used probably as a water jug.

It is glazed inside which would keep the contents cool.

I bought this on a french antique market and just couldn’t ignore that speckled glaze.

Yes it has some wear as you’d expect from something of this age. No cracks or hairlines just some grazing to the rim
