Large French oil on canvas abstract still life painting by H Lombard Calvet

What a beautiful painting with thick,thick oil paint!

Dimensions : 55 x 46 cm.

This is probably one of my favourite french finds this year. After a lot of haggling it was mine.

Painted in that slightly abstract way, the artist was clearly a follower of artists such as Cezanne,George Braque and Henri le Fauconnier.
