French Mid Century Still Life Oil Painting on Canvas by J Mathieu dated 1963

J Mathieu was a french artist from Lyon and he produced work from 1940-1980.

This is the third painting I have bought by this fantastic artist, the previous two sold immediately.

This work on canvas measures 46 x 38 cm and features fruit on a tazza sitting on an old checked tablecloth next to an open window with a shutter.

As you can see the condition is really good and the colours are lovely. Signed lower right and dated 1963 on the back
