French Double Sided Oil Painting on Canvas

No doubt painted at a time when artists used every spare surface to paint.

I sourced this painting in northern France.

It measures 61.5 x 46 cm.

I believe it dates to the 1920’s if my french was correct!

The side with the washer woman has sagged against the frame but its not noticeable when on the wall
