French 19th Century Still Life Oil Painting on Canvas

What a truly wonderful painting!

I would date it to mid 19th Century.

As you can see it depicts a joint of meat, garlic, onions and artichokes. I especially like the details on the old knife.

This is quite simply a fabulous art work.
