1930’s British Oil on Canvas Painting

Well this painting stopped me in my tracks!

To paint such a dark painting with the light coming through the window is so clever.

Painted on a Windsor & Newton canvas and measuring 46 x 35.5 cm.

Signed indistinctly lower right.

There are some surface marks but to me its just part of its 100 year life
